Real Estate Principles I is a qualifying education course which has a proven track record of being successful in educating students on the path to getting their Texas real estate license.
The instructional design of this course integrates nationally tested concepts along with Texas specific information needed to be successful on the licensing exam. In addition to preparing the student for success on the licensing exam, it also lays a solid foundation that is necessary for all additional qualifying education courses that are required by the Texas Real Estate Commission.

Key Points:

• Gain an understanding of the basics of real property law, land use controls, environmental issues, and how real property is legally described.
• Acquire a knowledge of the rights and interests a person receives in real property as either an owner or a tenant, and how ownership is conveyed from one person to another.
• Be introduced to the key concepts that are expanded upon in Law of Agency, Law of Contracts, and Promulgated Forms.
• Online proctoring of the course final exam included.
Methods of Delivery:
• In-Person instructor led live classroom, or
• Instructor led live virtual classroom.
• Students are expected to invest at least 15 hours of self-study outside of the classroom experience.
